Description

The simple CheckList is not so simple any more! This program allows you to write and store up to 50 four-step CheckLists. (In my experience, young children become overwhelmed with too many steps. If a project requires more than four steps, make more than one CheckList! Each time a list is completed, kids feel they are progressing. Accomplishment feels good!)

Students with ADHD, students with Autism/Aspergers, students who struggle with organization, students who struggle to work independently, students who lack motivation, students who are easily distracted... all benefit from the following:

VISUAL SUPPORTS

BREAK DIRECTIONS INTO SMALLER STEPS

CHANGE MULTIPLE STEP ACTIVITIES INTO SMALLER GOALS

VARY THE PACE OF AN ACTIVITY

VARY THE TYPE OF ACTIVITY

CHECKLISTS HELP WITH ALL OF THESE!

CheckLists help students organize, encourage them to stay on task, and free up YOUR TIME (since students need less help).

CheckLists are a life skill. Why not teach students how to use and create checklists? Print a blank CheckList and have students write their own. Or, start a class business - have students make CheckLists for other classrooms!

This program is easy to use and keeps your CheckLists organized.

INCLUDED IN THIS PRODUCT:

The CHECKLIST BANK - On this page you may create and store up to 50 different checklists. Each checklist has a title and four steps.

Three choices of Board styles (Checklist styles):

1. Plain Board - This is a plain black and white checklist. You may copy and paste your favorite clip art, then drag it on to the form. (Store the clip art on this page for future use.)

2. Style Boards - These are CheckLists with a fancy background. There are 12 to choose from. I suggest you print them on cardstock and laminate. Then students can use dry erase markers and the lists can be used over and over.

3. Token Board - Print this one on cardstock and laminate. Then print and cut out some tokens (there are 7 different tokens included). Use Velcro to attach tokens to the board.

Also included are instructions and samples of different ways to use CheckLists - some you might not have thought of!

I would love to hear about innovative uses for CheckLists. I'll pass on your suggestions.

Stay in touch.

Denise

P.S. YOU MUST HAVE EXCEL INSTALLED ON YOUR COMPUTER. To be sure this program will run on YOUR computer, download the free product "How Many Times Chart". If that one works, this one will also!
