What’s included for EACH TRAIT:
-Powerpoint lesson: This is a clean, basic, all white and black powerpoint that gives students suggestions on how to use the trait. It should be used first as a way to introduce the character trait. The end has "thumbs up/ thumbs down" slides for students to point out examples and non examples of the trait. Use these for the anchor chart that is provided. Comes with EDITABLE slides.
-Puzzle Board option 1: Has 16 pieces, focuses on 8 ways of showing the trait. You can use this as a whole class challenge, or as a table group. When students complete their puzzle, they get a reward.
-Puzzle Board option 2: Says ”Name of The Trait" on each piece, so that you can reward them for acts of the trait that are less specific.
-Puzzle Board 3: Editable so you can type in whatever you want.
-Anchor Chart 1: Displays a student friendly definition of the trait.
-Anchor Chart 2: This is an anchor chart to be filled out with your class to think about "examples" and "non-examples" of the trait.
-Heading 1: This is a title to be used for your whiteboard that reads," Caught Ya Showing the trait". There are a few variations of the word "showing" also included.
-Heading 2: provides a blank, editable template incase you want to create a heading that matches with your classroom or school theme.
-Rewards: 100 reward options for students to work towards after achieving their goal.
-Rewards 2: editable template for you to create your own rewards.
-Tickets: These tickets read “Caught Ya! Showing the trait” with a ”To:” and “From:” section. Students can fill these out and give them to each other to create a community that is encouraged to show acts of the trait. The teacher can fill these out and give them to students as well!
