Description

This foldable is designed to help students understand what changes in states of matter are, to recognize why changes occur and to identify four common changes (i.e. freezing, evaporation, melting and condensation). I recommend having students fill in the foldable following a lesson on this topic to consolidate their learning. The foldable can then be glued into the students' science notebooks to be used for future reference.

In this file you will find three versions of the foldable.

Version 1 (page 3-4) provides a brief explanation of each change in state, as well as examples of each change.

Version 2 (page 5-6) provides a brief explanation of each change in state and has room for students to provide their own examples of each change.

Version 3 (page 7-8) provides a fill in the blank explanation of each change in state, as well as room for students to provide their own examples of each change.

Now all you have to do is print, fold and enjoy!
