Chang’e Running to the Moon 嫦娥奔月(Simplified Chinese)

People set the day when Chang’e ran to the moon, which is the lunar day of August 15th, as Moon Festival, and they would prepare fruit and mooncakes to worship the moon, praying to Chang’e for good luck and safety.

大家就把嫦娥奔月的这一天，农历八月十五日订为中秋节，并准备水果和月饼祭拜月亮，向嫦娥祈求吉祥平安。
