Description

Engage your students with a journey into the past and analyze the historical significance of cave art with these interactive Pear Deck slides! Your students will watch a brief National Geographic video about cave art and take a virtual tour. They will also have the opportunity to draw their own cave art and describe the differences between the Paleolithic and Neolithic Eras. This lesson includes constructive writing tasks with analysis questions about different types of cave art.

By analyzing sources, students will develop essential skills for DBQs and standardized tests. They will also practice important ELA skills such as finding and citing evidence, identifying and applying domain-specific vocabulary, composing clear written responses, and other writing and reading comprehension skills.
