Description
This webquest is meant to teach students about Saint Patrick from a Catholic perspective. The first part of this webquest has students watch a 3 minute video and answer questions that follow about the basic details of Saint Patrick's life. These details include his place of birth, his capture into slavery, his time in the monastery, as well as his missionary work. The second part of this webquest has students watch a 2.5 minute video that covers questions about Saint Patrick being the patron saint of Ireland as well as his use of a shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity. This section also covers a little bit about the American tradition of Saint Patrick's Day Parades. The final section of this webquest has students visit a website to review The Prayer For the Faithful by Saint Patrick. Websites are provided using both an active link and a QR code. This can be pushed out digitally using the active link or used as a worksheet where students have access to a device that can scan a QR code (IPad or phone). An answer key is provided.
The TpT Digital Activity Platform does not support active links. A link to a copy of the Google doc of just the assignment is included with the answer key.
