Are your students in religious education classes preparing for Communion or Confirmation?
This is a PowerPoint presentation about Catholic prayers, suitable for Catholic school religion classes or after school religious education programs (CCD). It is 35 pages, covering these 15 prayers: Sign of the Cross; Hail Mary; Lord’s Prayer; Glory Be; Grace Before Meals; Grace After Meals; Prayer Before Bed; The Gloria; Nicene Creed; Apostles’ Creed; Confiteor; The Memorare; Hail, Holy, Queen; Act of Contrition (2 versions).
It can be played on the SMART Board, or just projected from the computer. Each prayer has two slides: one reveals a single line of the prayer at a time, on each mouse click; the other gives the entire text, with tricky vocabulary words explained. I have included (black and white) handouts of the prayers, which can be sent home for study. The handouts are in PDF form, and zipped together with the PowerPoint file. You need to “unzip” them to view the two files.
