Each section has 20 questions for a total of 100 questions.

Strategies used to target categorization skills in this resource:

• CONVERGENT NAMING: Choose the correct category from a field of 3 when given pictures. 
• DIVERGENT NAMING: List 3 items in a given category.
• WHAT DOESN'T BELONG: Find the picture that doesn’t belong in a field of 4 and discuss why. Find the word that doesn't belong in a field of 4 and discuss why.
• WHAT GOES TOGETHER: Find 2 pictures that go together in a field of 4 and discuss why. Find the 2 words that go together in a field of 4 and discuss why.
• SORTING TASKS: Sort 6 pictures into 2 groups. 

Sample categories: animals, body parts, clothing, colors, shapes, numbers, family members, desserts, food, drinks, rooms of the house, toys, furniture, vegetables, emotions, seasons, utensils, sports, community helpers, tools, school supplies, reptiles, and more!
