Career Exploration BUNDLE K - 5 Grades Lessons & Activities (STEM) (9 Careers)

This K-5th grade career exploration BUNDLE explores 9 different in-demand careers. For a total of 152 pages, and EACH includes: a lesson plan with learning objectives, bell ringer activity, mini lesson with vocabulary PowerPoint slides or cards, career video link, and 2 hands on activities (more than half of activities have a graphic organizer in Word). Each lesson was designed to fit within a 35 – 45 minute timeframe, and it can be extended to go deeper in the topic or spend more time on the activities. Student centered, experiential learning is a perfect way to students to engage and learn about these in-demand STEM careers with the following fun activities:

• Aerospace Engineer by using the engineer model to design and prototype a flying car
• Agricultural Engineer by using the engineer model to design and prototype a wind turbine
• Botanist by learning the importance of plants and planting a seed to take home and nurture
• Computer Programmer by using gamified coding activities with sequence and loops
• Dental Hygienist by discovering the importance of oral hygiene and create a recipe and the needed groceries to support a healthy lifestyle
• Quality Control Inspector
• Product Developer
• Urban Planner
• X-Ray Technician by learning about the human skeleton, x-ray technology and role playing patient care

ALL of these lessons are completely ready to roll out - no prep other than set-up! TOTAL LESSON TIME: 6.75 hours spread out over 2 weeks. Edits are possible in the MOS software. These are great for in person and can be easily modified for distance learning.
