Capitalizing Product Names - Interactive Made-for-Easel Activity

This Made-for-Easel Activity focuses on capitalizing product and brand names. After a brief tutorial, third, fourth, or fifth grade students complete a series of interactive practice activities with thumbs-up/thumbs-down, sorting, and fill-in-the-blank.

What’s Included:

• teacher directions and an answer key (remove before assigning)
• directions for using tools
• brief direct instruction
• five product names for which students give thumbs-up (capitalized correctly) or thumbs down (not capitalized correctly), as well as answers for checking
• a sorting activity
• an activity for which they must write the name of a product

Oral directions are also provided. Kids just push the sound icon.

If you're looking for a more traditional approach, try this set for capitalizing holidays and product names. Instruction occurs through a PowerPoint presentation, and kids practice with worksheets.
