Capacity and Length U.S. Customary Conversion Task Cards 5.MD.1

Looking for a fun way for your students to practice converting capacity and length in the U.S. Customary System? This set of 16 task cards with a lemonade stand theme allows your students to practice converting with real life examples of running a lemonade stand.

The first 8 cards are "large to small" conversions that would be suited for 4th grade students. The next 8 cards are mixed conversions. There is an answer recording sheet and answer key included.

After your students complete the task cards, there is practice sheet with similar questions to make sure they understand the concept.

I usually show my students the "duck song" on youtube just to get them excited before we do these task cards. It has nothing to do with conversion, but it does have a lemonade stand in the video and it makes the students smile! :)
