    · The sweet story activity has students write a paragraph or story, and then identify the nouns, adjectives, and verbs within the text.

    · One way to identify is to follow the directions by highlighting the verbs, underlining the nouns, and circling the adjectives.

    · Another way to sort the parts of speech is to write them down in the appropriate columns on the Sweet Story sort page.

    · All options come in color & BW versions

    Sweet Skittles Sort Activity:

    · For this activity, there is a word on each task cards. There are nouns, adjectives, and verbs included.

    · The student(s) will sort the task cards underneath the correct label.

    · Once all cards have been sorted, each student will record the words on the sort recording sheet.

    Place Value Smarties Station
