Looking for an engaging activity to review important facts about government and citizenship in Canada? Need a fun way for your Grade 5 students to review key information before a test that doesn't involve worksheets? Check out this Jeopardy-style trivia game to get kids excited during social studies class.
This resource was originally created to complement the Grade 5 Ontario Curriculum unit The Role of Government and Responsible Citizenship. However, no particular reference is made to Ontario, making it appropriate for classrooms throughout the country. It could easily be used in Grades 4 - 7 classrooms.

• 5 category cards (in 2 versions: colour/black & white)
• 25 money cards ($100, $200, $300, $400, $500)
• 50 game cards(enough for 2 full rounds of play)

The game would work best in a large pocket chart, although the game cards could also be put on a magnetic board. It is intended for classrooms that do not have access to a Smartboard or similar media.
