    Description

Have your students say goodbye to the school year in a fun way by enjoying these 15 learning activities and games! Use these games to review what has been learned throughout the year. It's a great way to keep kids engaged and motivated while celebrating their successes of the past school year. Let the learning continue as summer approaches!

This camping bundle is a great end-of-the-year activity to review and build literacy as well as math skills. It also will work great for summer school, or even starting off the school year.

I would also recommend it for those dreary winter days when one needs to escape the winter doldrums and pretend it is summer.

This Camping Learning Collection contains 10 different activities:

    • Camping Theme: Five Senses
    • Camping Theme: Frog Life Cycle
    • Camping Theme: Mapping Task Cards

Boom Cards are easy for the teacher and fun for the children!

    • These can be played on computers or tablets, give immediate feedback to the children, and detailed data for the teacher.

To try it out, click the box labeled “View Preview,” then scroll down to where it says, “Click HERE for a playable preview.”

    More information about Boom cards:

Boom Cards play on modern browsers (released in the last three years) on interactive whiteboards, computers, and tablets. Boom Cards apps are also available. Organize, represent, and interpret data with up to three categories; ask and answer questions about the total number of data points, how many in each category, and how many more or less are in one category than in another.
Generate measurement data by measuring lengths of several objects to the nearest whole unit, or by making repeated measurements of the same object. Show the measurements by making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is marked off in whole-number units.
Draw a picture graph and a bar graph (with single-unit scale) to represent a data set with up to four categories. Solve simple put-together, take-apart, and compare problems using information presented in a bar graph.
Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories. Solve one- and two-step “how many more” and “how many less” problems using information presented in scaled bar graphs. For example, draw a bar graph in which each square in the bar graph might represent 5 pets.
Generate measurement data by measuring lengths using rulers marked with halves and fourths of an inch. Show the data by making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is marked off in appropriate units-whole numbers, halves, or quarters.
