Camp Kindergarten is a fun way to start the year, but also purposeful. Teach your kindergarteners your expectations and rules for using the basic tools of Kindergarten while also assessing their readiness skills all in that first week of school. Not to mention, this is also the perfect way to start teaching your centers routine while students are practicing these skills. You will love it, your students will love it, and the parents will too!
Each day of Camp Kindergarten students will learn and practice a different skill with a different classroom tool: play dough, pencils, crayons, scissors, glue, and books. Use the slideshow to teach your rules and expectations for each tool. Model for students how to use them, then give them time to practice. Finally, reward them with their camp badges once they've earned them! At the end of camp, you can celebrate by creating a poster to hang their badges on and hang them up for Open House. Parents will love these and kids will be proud to show them off.

**When you download this product it will be in a ZIP file. Inside that ZIP file are 5 files. There are 3 PDF files which have the documents as is and are not editable. There are 2 different editable files included: one in Powerpoint and one in Keynote. You will need to open the PDF files in Adobe Reader (be sure to download the latest version for free before opening it). If you open it in anything else it will not work.
