Description
This year it's time to go deeper into our Social Studies units, so I created in depth nonfiction Reading Passages about the California Regions we will be studying, specifically the Coastal, Mountain, Desert, and Valley.
This product has 3 sections:
First, each region has their own passage, multiple choice assessment, and a strategy grid to assist students into looking closely at the text. Answer keys are also provided.
Then, the 4 regions are compared through 4 pages of multiple choice questions and short responses. An answer key is also included for the multiple choice assessment.
Finally, there are 5 thinking maps included in the product that can be used for individual students, groups to work together, or as a whole class brainstorm. Please check out the real pictures located in the preview.
