Description

This project is designed for students to research a specific California Native American tribe, and learn about the tribe's region, food, tools, traditions, housing, clothing and daily life. Students learn about where their tribes lived, who their neighbors are, how they dressed and so much more. Students then write about their tribe and present their information on a Manilla folder. Students can complete this project individually or in groups of 2-3. Students become experts on their tribe and then present their information to the class.
