Description

This Calculus Interactive Volume of Revolution Surface of Revolution about the y-axis Grapher will wow your kids with LIVE interactive math explorations and animations.

My students think this is awesome. This Easy 3D grapher will demonstrate and explore the volume of revolution in your classroom as never before. Incorporate this applet into your traditional lessons, Power Points, or Smart Board lessons or use as a free standing "app" to explore with your class.

Not ready for live? The use this tool to create great graphics for tests, PowerPoints, and SmartBoard presentations.

These interactive discovery apps utilize LiveMath Viewer™ which is included in the zip file. PC only.

This particular applet allows the user to graph two functions simultaneously. There are two graphs included in this notebook, one which graphs the function on the x-y plane, and the other graphs the surface of revolution about the y-axis in 3D. The function the is totally changeable and will update immediately. Zoom in, zoom out, or change the viewing window by highlighting and typing a few keystrokes. The graphs update immediately.

Theses make extraordinary demonstrations for distance learning on a medium like Zoom™.

Note:You do not have to be on the internet to use these applets and can set these up before class.
