Calculus Ch. 4B: Definite Integrals Unit Flipchart

More flipcharts to simplify your life!!!! All your notes and examples in one place!!!! No need to open the book or write notes to refer to. Just start and complete each day’s lesson in the unit with this flipchart. I divide Ch. 4 where the students first encounter Integration into two tests. In Ch. 4A, the students found simple antiderivatives, solve simple differential equations and get introduced to definite integration using rectangles and trapezoids. In Ch. 4B, the students will use the definition of definite integral to solve integrals before going on to the Fundamental Theorems of Calculus. They will also antidifferentiate compositions of functions and use these in velocity. Acceleration, distance and speed problems and find the average value of a function. There are 54 flipchart pages which can be completed in approximately 8 days of 50-minute classes.

Each flipchart file in my Calculus Units series contains definitions, theorems, examples and practice problems with plenty room on each page for you or the students to work the problems on the flipchart. My textbook introduces transcendental functions later in the year, so you will not find any applications using natural log, exponential or inverse trig functions in these notes.
