Calculus Ch. 2A: Definition of Derivative Unit Flipchart

Just start and complete each day’s lesson on the unit with this flipchart. I divide Ch. 2 on derivatives into three tests. Ch. 2A introduces derivatives focusing on the definitions of derivatives and some simple derivative rules. The students also solve some application problems using simple derivatives such as velocity, acceleration and rate of change. This Ch. 2A flipchart is 55 pages covering approximately 8 to 10 days of 50-minute classes.

Each flipchart in my Calculus Units series contains definitions, theorems, examples and practice problems with plenty room on each page for you or the students to work the problem on the flipchart.

This product was made using ActivInspire for Promethean board. If you don't have ActivInspire in your computer, you can download a basic version for free from www.prometheanworld.com. 
If you do not use a Promethean board in your class you can still project the flipchart and work on your tablet or easily convert the Flipchart file into PDF file and display it as a Power Point presentation or use it as print-outs.

More units on the way! Ch. 2B will continue with product and quotient rules, chain rule, trig rules, implicit differentiation, linear approximation, and ends with L’Hospital’s Rule. Ch. 2C will focus strictly on related rates problems. I’ll post these soon.
