What educators are saying

I used this to kick off our AP exam review. It was a great way to review all of the topics from the year before we dove into AP style questions. My students have kept it and use it a reference instead of having to go back through their notes from the year.

Description

Calculus Review

In this packet you will find practice problems for AP Calculus students. In my 15 years of teaching AP Calculus, I have noticed that certain types of problems always seem to come up on the AP Exam.

This packet is a growing bundle and more pages will be added as I find more types of problems that my students need to practice. The price will grow as I add more pages. I expect that the end price of this packet will be approximately $10.00. Buy now and get all future updates for free!

Currently in this packet you will find a page about the following topics:

+ writing equations of tangent lines

+ tricky limits that are actually derivatives

+ finding a constant that will make a function continuous

+ adding and subtracting fractions (getting a common denominator)

+ finding the derivative with chain rule (no trig)

+ finding the derivatives of trig functions (with chain rule)

+ finding the derivative from a table

+ working with radicals, powers, and derivatives

+ finding the distance traveled by a particle

+ factoring A

+ factoring B

+ curve sketching A

+ curve sketching B

+ curve sketching C

+ curve sketching D (given a derivative find info about f(x), f"(x), inc, dec, poi, etc)

+ related rates - volume of a cone practice

+ Riemann Sums and Trapezoidal Rule from a table

+ Even More u-substitution

+ volume around the x or y axis

+ volume around a line other than the x or y axis

[related rates - pythagorean theorem..volume by cross sections...coming soon :)]

Each page will contain somewhere between 4 and 10 problems depending on the type of problem and how much space it takes up.

Some skills will be included more than once so you can go back to them as the year progresses.

Answer Keys included.
