This bundle includes three resources for Cajas de cartón: task cards, a summaries compilation project, and a summative exam.

Preguntas Personales Task Cards
25 personal question task cards for the novel Cajas de cartón. These questions are designed so that students relate their own life experiences to what the main character experiences in the novel.

Proyecto de resúmenes
Students learn how to summarize.

For each chapter, they write down new words they learn, key events in the chapter, and create a rough draft summary of 150 words.

The teacher gives students feedback on their rough draft summaries before they begin work on their final draft.

Students cut out, color, and write the final draft of their summaries creating a beautiful summaries compilation booklet.

Cajas de cartón Examen
This is a multiple-choice test for the novel Cajas de cartón by Fransisco Jiménez. You can use this as 12 separate quizzes following each chapter or as a summative exam for the entire novel.

There are 60 multiple choice questions divided by chapter.

La Cosecha
This is a post-viewing quiz for the documentary La Cosecha.

Duration:
It will take your students at least a month. Students will read through the novel, respond to the personal question task cards, write the chapter summaries, complete the summary compilation booklet, & take the test.
