Looking for worksheets on how to isolate and pronounce the beginning, middle, and end of phonemes? This RF.K.2.d Kindergarten Reading Foundational Skills unit is full of standards-based lesson plans, worksheets, and centers. It is used to teach how to isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sound in a CVC word. It is also aligned with Science of Reading.

It comes with a week-long lesson plan unit, plus supplemental centers and graphic organizers. The resources help students pronounce the initial and final sounds or phonemes in a word, as well as identify and pronounce the medial vowel.

There are two versions of this unit. The first half of the PDF is using the terminology "initial, medial, and final". The second half is the same resources, but using the terminology "beginning, middle, and end".
