CVC Word Families PowerPoint Games Onset and Rime Bundle

There are 6 CVC word families PowerPoint games in this bundle - one for each short vowel sound and a bonus game that includes all the vowel sounds. Your students will love the games; they're bright, engaging, self-correcting, and promote active learning. The activities are perfect for kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, or ESL students. Use the PPT games as whole class phonological awareness or phonetic activities (add whiteboards for whole class participation), or for independent practice during literacy centers. This is a fun and easy way to improve and consolidate phonological and phonetic skills.

This pack contains six CVC PPT games, one for each word family (A - 32 slides, E - 26 slides, I - 29 slides, O - 19 slides, U - 29 slides) and one mixed word family game (39 slides).

Directions:
Look at the picture and blend the correct onset and rime to form the word.
Use your mouse to select the correct onset.
If you're correct, you'll hear a magic chime sound and lights will appear around your answer.
If you're incorrect, you'll hear a buzzing sound and the incorrect answer will disappear. You’ll get another chance to choose the correct answer.
