CVC Sentence Strips for Beginning Readers

These sentence strip cards are great for those beginning emergent readers. This reading material gives a little extra practice for children who understand the concept of reading CVC words, yet they don't quite have the fluency down enough with each word to move into books without becoming frustrated. Each card contains one sentence made up mostly of CVC words and minimal beginning sight words, such as the, a, I, and to. The sentence also has a picture clue to help guide them through the sentence successfully, giving children confidence and encouragement to move into books.
