CKLA Domain 7 Westward Expansion Vocabulary Cards and Newsletter Grade 2

These CKLA Domain 7 Westward Expansion 2nd grade vocabulary cards are the vocabulary words from the domain assessment ONLY. I only included the 15 words from the domain assessment because it seems overwhelming to send home 30-40 vocabulary word cards and make students study ALL of them. I use these in my classroom in a pocket chart to display for the students as we come across them. I also send home the parent letter and the vocabulary cards for students to practice at home. There is also a parent newsletter that explains the domain, learning outcomes, and description of overall unit. There are 2 parent newsletters included- 1 with ALL vocabulary words listed for the domain, and one that ONLY includes the words the students are tested on for the domain assessment. They can cut them apart and match them up as a "review game" before the domain assessment. The cards are included in both color border and black and white border for copying onto colored paper if desired. The newsletter is in full color.
