Description

As a teacher, I could NEVER find a simple, user-friendly version of a spreadsheet that allowed me to track students based on the various Common Core or NGSS standards. What I have created for teachers and admin alike is a simple Google Sheet where individual standards can be assessed and tracked. Duplicate the document for each student in your class.

I have also pre-coded numerous interactive functions, which include:

>Averages of individual standards across four quarters.

>Average performance on all standards per quarter.

>Cell color functions based on a simple 1-3 scale, with one being novice (red), two being intermediate (yellow), and three being mastery (green).

>Percentage of standards on red, yellow, or green.

This version includes standards for ELA, writing, speaking and listening, math, science, and social science for grades K-2. Updates will include standards for world languages.

**Although the file is downloadable as Excel (.xlsx), it is best if used directly in Google Sheets.

If you need any support or troubleshooting of the documents, I'm happy to support you in the comments.

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
