Description

Have your students take flight with this paper butterfly project! Included are four wings and a body, all you need to supply are metal brads and pipe cleaners commonly found in the classroom. Step-by-step instructions allow students to practice informational reading skills and let you discreetly check for understanding while the students work. Questions at the end of the project let students reflect on why they completed each step in the sequence as they did. Enjoy this activity and check back often for new updates as I add to the file!

Also, check out the video to see what dozens of fluttering butterflies could look like on your wall! We just turn a fan on a light setting, and the butterflies flutter away!
