This package contains 13 step-by-step instruction pages on how to fold simple origami butterflies. It's amazing to see how easy it is for children (and adults!) to create butterflies from paper with a little help. All pages include easy steps.

The Butterfly can be made using a single piece of (square) paper.

General tips:

- Don't use paper that is too small, this will frustrate the students. Any square sheet of paper equal to, or larger than, standard 6”x6” should do.

- For a better effect, consider using paper with different colors on each side (look for special origami paper), or just place two different colored pieces of paper on top of each other. The examples show a color combination suggestion.

- When the children are done folding, use a pen/pencil to add details like eyes, etc. Of course, you can also use stick-on eyes or other decorations.
