Description

This butterfly unit is packed with engaging language arts activities! The resource includes a butterfly observation journal, spelling, vocabulary, lessons on butterfly metamorphosis, a writing choice board and writing stationary, anatomy of a butterfly, pollination, & much more. Whether raising butterflies is included in your plan or not, it is so much fun watching the students witness the miracle of nature through this butterfly unit. This is one of my favorite projects to do at the end of the school year. Your students are sure to love this experience! Resource ideas are included for obtaining butterfly larva and personal experiences raising the larva.
