Business Shark Tank Project and Supplemental Activities/Worksheets

This project includes step by step, day by day, teacher instructions, supplemental activity worksheets, including a Shark Tank episode guide, a Shark Tank product analysis activity, a brainstorm worksheet for product development, and a project information sheet including directions and check list requirements for the business plan, shark tank pitch, and advertisement. I use this project with my high school economics students during the business unit. It is my absolute favorite project because students become so engaged and invested in their self created business/project. Students go through the process of entrepreneurship firsthand, and also have the opportunity to think like a "shark" investor when it comes time for presentations. In addition to the project materials, I've also included a presentation guide for students, where they will identify what is appealing or perhaps not so appealing to them as an investor, as well as questions they have for the entrepreneurs who are presenting. Students use this to keep track of all pitches so they can vote on the product they feel is the best investment. This product is editable! Use only what works best for you and your students!
