When I first created this, I thought about my unit sequencing and worried about whether or not the concepts would line up with what we were learning. However, I remembered something from a teacher textbook and realized it didn’t matter: “Teach in layers, not lumps!” If the “Tuesday Terms” are relevant to a future unit, great! It’s a preview. If they’re relevant to a past unit, great! It’s review! :)

Now, let’s just say the average amount of class time spent on bell work is 5 minutes (even though the answer key provides discussion prompts and links to videos and other resources that allow you to spend more time if you wish)...

5 mins x 5 days a week x 20 weeks = 500 minutes

500 minutes / 60 = 8.3 hours
