Students will learn about the reservation system, forced assimilation, Native American children's experiences at Carlisle Indian School, the Battle of the Little Bighorn and Sioux resistance to U.S. policies, and the Massacre at Wounded Knee.
I use these resources with 10th grade students in a U.S. history course.
