CONSTRUCTED RESPONSE QUESTIONS (CRQS)
Made for New York State Global History & Geography II Regents
What are CRQs?
CRQ stands for Constructed Response Question. They are designed for the New York State Regents Exam in Global History and Geography II, but can be a helpful resource for any class studying Global History.
A CRQ contains two related Documents, called a ‘Document Set’. In the first document, students analyze historical or geographic circumstances. In the second, students identify one of the following in the document: point of view, purpose, audience or bias. The third question requires students to discuss the relationship between the two documents: Cause/Effect, Similarity or Difference, or Turning Point.
This resource includes 51 document sets to be used throughout the entire curriculum. SEE PREVIEW for a detailed breakdown of the CRQs provided.
