Build vocabulary in your music class with a Word Splash, simple and fun!

WHAT IS A WORD SPLASH? THIS IS A GREAT TOOL FOR STUDENTS TO LEARN NEW VOCABULARY WHILE CREATING FACTUAL SENTENCES.

THE VOCABULARY WORDS ARE "SPLASHED" IN THE CENTER CIRCLE AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE. THE STUDENTS THEN HAVE TO USE ALL OF THE WORDS IN FACTUAL SENTENCES ON THE LINES PROVIDED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.

BECAUSE WE ARE A 1:1 IPAD SCHOOL, THE STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO USE THEIR DEVICES TO LOOK UP THE DEFINITION OF EACH WORD AND THEN WORK INDIVIDUALLY OR WITH A PARTNER TO CREATE THEIR SENTENCES.

THE STUDENTS MAY USE ONE WORD OR MORE THAN ONE WORD IN EACH SENTENCE. IT'S UP TO YOU TO DECIDE WHAT WORKS BEST FOR YOUR STUDENTS. IF MORE SPACE IS NEEDED FOR WRITING, JUST USE THE BACK OF THE WORD SPLASH.
