Build Your First Resume!
Prepare your students for the workforce by helping them create their first resume!
In this assignments, your students will receive pointers on how to create a quality resume that will get the attention of employers and hiring managers.
Students will learn what key words businesses are looking for when they review resumes for potential interviews.
Students will use a resume template (can be copied to Word or Google Docs) to learn how to build a personalized resume. Students will also learn what counts as job experience (more than they think!)
***A Sample Resume as well as a template is included!****
Over two dozen of my own students has done this assignment, applied for a job, and received a job offer! Good luck!!!
