What educators are saying
A great activity to do in a class period! It helped explain the Eightfold path so that my students could better understand each concept. They enjoyed the activity and the discussion we had that followed.
Description
This is a student centered learning activity emphasizing cooperative learning. There are eight featured stations students will go to gather information on the Eightfold Path to Enlightenment. The stations are literacy based text readings with visual prompts, and graphics that feature philosophical principles on this topic. This aligns very well with Common Core practices and standards. There is also a small PowerPoint section that you can use to display the learning objective, launch your motivational set, and conclude the lesson with questions for reflection, as well as a graphic organizer for your student to use as an assessment sheet. In addition, to all of this material there is a completed Danielson's lesson plan attached to the product- which will save you a huge amount of time during your planning and creating, especially if you are using this for an observation. A lot of planning went into this product, I am sure you will enjoy it.
