Description

BROADWAY THROUGH THE AGES is an 11-week course that takes students through the history of Broadway beginning with today's current musicals all the way back to the Golden Age of Broadway. Courses can be used as an entire unit or can easily be used for a single class of teacher's choice. All video links and discussion topics are included in the PDF. Great for a substitute!

Course 1 takes an in depth look at the hit Broadway musical HAMILTON and is aimed to get students talking about the huge impact this musical has had on the world. Since HAMILTON is recognizable to most people, this is a great place to start to get students excited about exploring more theatre.

As always, use your discretion and please watch the videos first to make sure you feel they are appropriate for your students!
