Description
This was created for my grade 5 class to correspond with the curriculum expectations for the Forces on Structures unit.
Students are required to create a bridge using only newspapers, tape and scissors.
Activity instructions, follow-up worksheet and rubric are included.
This assignment corresponds directly with Ontario Grade 5 Expectations, but is also perfect for Grade 7 Science and is an excellent team-building activity.
