Brazilian Legend: Boitatá | Portuguese 3-Part Cards and Activities

The Legend of Boitatá is a Brazilian folktale about a snake who protects the rainforest. This is a great cultural lesson to introduce children to Brazilian culture. These Portuguese Montessori Three Part Cards contain 36 common terms found in the "Turma da Mônica" version of this legend. These cards are great for kids with speech delays, kids who are autistic, hyperlexic, or kids who simply need a little help learning new words. Each term comes with a label card, image card, and a control cards (card with an image and label).

This product also contains drawing pages and craft activities.

What are Montessori Cards? Montessori Three-Part Cards, or nomenclature cards, refer to card materials that children manipulate in order to internalize the information on the cards. The three-part cards give your children the opportunity to build their vocabulary, enrich the language. They are used as the foundation of classification, reading, writing, culture, geography, and art in the Montessori Classroom.
