This was such an engaging way to get students to truly understand how the three branches of government function together.
We've been doing a branches of government simulation for a while but this was a great way to pull it all together at the end. My kids really understood the material and they were able to apply it in this activity.
Description
Allow students the opportunity to experience what it's like to work on each branch of government with this fun set of centers. Students will get to be the President and approve or veto new laws; while working as Supreme Court justices they will determine whether new class rules are constitutional or not; and they will get to make new rules for recess while pretending they are a member of Congress. Bring the branches of government to life with this activity!
