Description

This is a PowerPoint slideshow that reviews basic facts dealing with the branches of government. It has been kid tested numerous times. It can used as a review, introduction, quiz or other activities. My students enjoyed using it like electronic flashcards as well as playing games such as Around the World with it. Excellent tool for when you finish your lesson a few minutes early and need a sponge activity.

This 30 slide Powerpoint slideshow has student answering questions such the ones below and more!
How many Senators are from each state?
What are the two parts of Congress?
How old must a representative be?
Who is the leader of the Supreme Court?
What is the maximum number of years that a President can serve in office?
What is a veto?
How many Supreme Court Justices are there?
Where must a Senator or Representative live?
When is the only time that the Vice President is allowed to vote in the Senate?
How long is a Senator’s term in office?
What is the Chain of Command for the Executive Branch?
What document establishes the three branches of government?
Who is the leader of the Senate?
How old must a President be?
If the Vice President is absent from a Senate meeting who is in charge?
