Description

Engage your students with this step-by-step Bottle Ecosystem Design Project.

Teach it!
Lesson plans will guide you through scaffolding students with classroom friendly fact sheets that will motivate students to infer as they decide what type of habitat will meet the needs of the insect they select.

Plan it!
Students will now begin the design process and draft samples of their bottle ecosystem. Collaboration with peers will ensure students are familiar with giving and receiving feedback to refine their ecosytems.

Build it!
Students will assemble their Bottle Ecosystems after adults have helped cut the bottles to your students specifications. Parent communication letters will help your students collect the supplies for their unique ecosystem.

Present it!
Allow students to present their Bottle Ecosystems by practicing their communication skills. Criteria on a Tri-fold backdrop is also included!
