If your class studies the American Revolution and specifically the causes leading up to it, this Boston Tea Party set will really make your products stand out.
In December of 1773, a crowd of Bostonians, led by the Sons of Liberty, organized a political protest to show defiance against the British Government's tax on tea. Many of the demonstrators disguised as American Indians destroyed an entire shipment of tea by storming British ships carrying the tea and throwing it into Boston Harbor.
Included in this set are 22 PNG images (11 color and 11 black & white) of colonists disguised as American Indians, HMS Dorchester - one of the ships that carried the tea, Demonstrators breaking open crates of tea and throwing it into the harbor; Shipments of tea on the deck of the ship and in the harbor; shipment with manifest, Map of Massachusetts; Boston's Old North Church, teapot, a tea leaf with the date of the Boston Tea Party, and a Tea Tax sign.
