Love this! Had the kids sequence events first then retell the short story with visual help with the pictures. Love it!
This was used with a gifted kindergarten student who also has autism. He seemed to enjoy matching the pictures to the story and appeared to feel successful. He does not like to talk much but he liked saying which picture came next in the sequence.

Description

This deck of Boom Cards includes 16 5-step stories. To use the activity read each short story to your student or have him/her read the story outloud. Then have the student sequence the 5 images below the story to retell it.
