What educators are saying

Super easy to set up and my students loved it. They were very engaged and it was easy for them to see where they messed up - if they didn't end up visiting every model. Will definitely be using it next year!
Simple but helpful and versatile. I put these around the school and students had a lot of fun running around finding the answers

Description

This scavenger hunt for identifying elements based on their Bohr models is an easy, no prep (print and go!) loop activity that will lead your students around your classroom while they review. Students will solve the problem at one station, then go on a hunt to find their answer at another station. If the student has completed each problem correctly, they will complete the loop by finding the answer to their last problem at their starting station.

To complete this activity, students should have experience identifying Bohr models, or at least creating their own Bohr models, for the first 20 elements. Students may also need a copy of the periodic table.

This product includes a 2 page teacher guide, 18 rotation cards, an answer sheet, and a full answer key. To prepare for the activity, print a copy of the rotation cards, fold each card in half, tape them up around your classroom, and you're ready to go!
