Description

This is the last of a 5 week unit about Black History that includes information about the past Winter Olympics in Russia, history of the Olympic rings and colors and honors Jessie Owens. It includes higher order thinking questions and common core standards. Week one was living famous African Americans and had a free download that explains more about creating the five week class chapter book. Week 2 was Inventors, Week 3 was Activists, Week 4 includes President's Day.
The standards attached for this are Kindergarten but it can be modified as a bell ringer/morning work for any grade.
