Description
Black History Month Math Activities (Google Activity) is a fun way to practice key 6th grade math concepts while celebrating Black History Month! This activity highlights key events from the Civil Rights Movement including Brown v. Board of Education Topeka, Montgomery Bus Boycotts, and the March on Washington. Each topic has an informational text paired with historically accurate mathematical questions. The product is ready for you to add to your Google Drive and assign on Google Classroom. All tasks are aligned with Common Core Standards and are designed around standardized questions will see on the state test!
Students will honor Black History by completing the following math related activities. Through these activities, they will learn more about the major events and leaders from the Civil Rights Era while testing their math knowledge.
