Specifically, these are the centers/skills of focus:

Each center and activity includes a student friendly Direction Card that connects each center with its Famous Folk. Each also includes a recording sheet to hold students accountable for their work. In addition, I've included a full-page, illustrated poster that gives a brief background of the Famous Folks' most notable accomplishments. I added this bonus so this product could be used as a stand-alone teaching tool; so if you don't have much time or the resources to reach and teach about Black History, then your students will receive some background about these history greats also. The graphics used are from the ever-so-popular Melonheadz and will grab your kiddos attention. These enrichment centers are interactive and will challenge your students, while there's an element of differentiation involved with each. So even your ESL/ELL and Special Education students can benefit from using them.

I strongly encourage you to download the preview to see each activity in this product and to see everything you'll be receiving. I also urge you to consider looking at this product's companion product, Famous Folks of Black History.

Happy Black History,
