My students LOVED this escape room! They worked with partners and turned it into a race to see who could collect the information and find the codes the fastest! I was truly impressed with how engaged they were, especially since it is so close to the end of the year!!

We worked on this together as a class as my students haven't had much exposure to escape room activities. They had so much fun trying to figure out the clues and we learned so much along the way. great product and will definitely add this to my yearly activities!

Fantastic Escape Room activity! I don't think I have ever used one quite like it. My students were unable to work through the content on their own because of their reading levels so it is definitely a whole group activity. The variety of puzzles, although challenging and at times needing a bit more scaffolding than the great support provided, are 100% engaging and not frustrating for my students since we used a whole class option. I would recommend this activity as a wonderful addition to any upper elementary/middle school Black History unit, Thanks so much!
